Common Water Purifier Cartridge Types And Features

Common Water Purifier Cartridge Types And Features

PP Cotton Cartridge:

This is the most common pre-filter cartridge in water purifiers, usually as the first line of defense.
ts material is generally polypropylene fiber, with low cost and obvious filtering effect.
Its filtration precision is between 0.5-100 microns, which can effectively intercept the visible impurities in the water.
The replacement cycle of PP cotton cartridge is relatively short, usually 3-6 months.

Activated carbon cartridge:

Activated carbon has a strong adsorption capacity, can remove residual chlorine, odor, color and some organic matter in the water.
Activated carbon cartridge is divided into front activated carbon cartridge and rear activated carbon cartridge;
Front activated carbon is mainly used to remove residual chlorine and some organic matter in the water.
Rear activated carbon further improves the taste of the water, so that the water is sweeter and more delicious. Its replacement cycle is generally 6-12 months.

Ultra-filtration cartridge:

The filtration precision of ultra-filtration cartridge is between 0.001 micron – 0.1 micron
Ultra-filtration water purifier does not need electricity, relying on water pressure for filtration, with a large water output.
Without the need for wastewater discharge and other advantages, suitable for water quality requirements are not particularly high areas.
The service life of ultrafiltration cartridge is generally 1-2 years.

RO membrane cartridge:

RO membrane is the core component of reverse osmosis water purifier, its filtration precision is as high as 0.0001 micron, can effectively remove almost all the impurities in the water.
so that the water to reach the standard of pure water.

RO membrane cartridge filtration effect is good, but the speed of water production is relatively slow.

It will produce a certain percentage of waste water. In general, the replacement cycle of RO membrane cartridge is about 2-3 years.
