The Classification of Water Purifier

The Classification of Water Purifier

1.Classification by filtration method

4.Ultra-filtration water purifier

1.Ultrafiltration water purifier uses ultrafiltration membrane for filtration, and the pore size of ultrafiltration membrane is generally between 0.01 – 0.1 micron.
It can remove colloids, macromolecular organics, bacteria, etc. in water, but has limited effect on the removal of some small molecules of heavy metal ions. For example, it can effectively filter out bacteria such as E. coli in the water, but cannot remove the dissolved trace lead ions in the water.

5. Reverse osmosis water purifier

1. As mentioned earlier, reverse osmosis water purifiers have extremely high filtration accuracy. It removes almost all impurities from the water and can produce drinking water that is almost pure. However, it will produce a certain amount of wastewater in the process of work, the general ratio of wastewater in 1:1 – 1:3 or so, that is, the production of one share of wastewater at the same time will get 1 – 3 shares of pure water.

6. Activated carbon water purifier

1. It mainly relies on the adsorption effect of activated carbon to purify water. It can effectively remove odor, residual chlorine and some organic pollutants in the water. But the removal effect of microorganisms and heavy metals in the water is relatively weak, usually as a pre-filter or post-filter unit of other water purifiers, used to improve the taste of water.
2. Classified by installation method

7. Countertop water purifier

1. This type of water purifier is installed on the kitchen countertop, generally small and easy to install. It usually has a separate faucet and does not take up much cabinet space. However, it has a relatively small water storage capacity and may require frequent cartridge changes or refills.

8. Under-counter water purifier

1. The under-counter water purifier is installed in the cabinet under the kitchen sink and has a relatively simple appearance. It has a relatively large water storage capacity, and can be connected to the kitchen faucet, which is relatively convenient to use. But the installation process is relatively complex, need to consider the cabinet space and drainage and other issues.

9. Central water purifier

1. The central water purifier is installed in the main water pipeline of the family, which can purify the water for the whole house. It has a strong filtration capacity and can remove most of the impurities in the water, including sediment, rust, bacteria and so on. However, it is more expensive and has a larger footprint, which is suitable for families with higher water quality requirements.
